I've just finished reading an article, or, better said, the preview of an article to be published in the March issue of Social Psychology Quarterly (link to the Romanian paper that put the findings in the news: Liberalismul, ateismul şi exclusivitatea sexuală la bărbaţi sunt corelate cu IQ-ul)
It appears that there is a strong connection between the IQ and the way people behave - to which my reaction was 'REALLY?'
Joking aside, I can't wait to read the original findings of the study (because, unlike a lot of crap that gets published nowadays, some respectable magazines use actual research to support their papers). And it's not just that I don't trust the Romanian (or any other, for that matter) press to truthfully relate a piece of news - though I never forget most are in the entertainment business, therefore the business of 'selling' the news, no matter how accurate or relevant they are; I am, however, very curious about the research done.
